August 26: Location: Phil Gregg’s Farm Personnel: Sigrid Teets: Field treatment site selection; coordinate activities to be filmed Bruce Loyd: Camera setup and filming Tom Basden: Weed Wiper setup and herbicide application Rakesh Chandran (if available) or Bruce Loyd: Herbicide selection and mixing Rodney Kiser (or other staff): Tractor available to pull weed wiper Filming: Weed wiper setup Choosing the appropriate herbicide Treatment of a section of weed infested forage Location: Reedsville Farm Personnel: Sigrid Teets: Coordinate activities to be filmed Bruce Loyd: Camera setup and filming Tom Basden: GPS unit setup with tank sprayer Rodney Kiser (or other staff: Tractor and Sprayer set up, with water in sprayer and selection of actual site for the demonstration Rakesh Chandran (if available): Importance of proper herbicide coverage Filming GPS attachment to tractor Equipment measurements for GPS calibration Herbicide safety Tractor and sprayer movements GPS readout and report

Pasture Weed Management Pilot Program Application Sign ups March 1, 2021 through May 31, 2021 Please print, fill out, and mail completed application(s). In addition to the application we will need a current copy of pasture soil sample results and a farm map. Our address is: Monongahela Conservation District 201 Scott Avenue Morgantown, WV 26508 There will also be a drop box outside to the door of the building to drop off applications.
