Please note: In accordance with the Governor’s recent announcement, TVCD will be closed Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th for Independence Day. Tygarts Valley Conservation District is putting together a Grazing Outreach Field Day focused on drought resiliency, and your input could make a huge difference! !! Attention Farmers in the Tygarts Valley Conservation District! !! If you applied for drought recovery assistance prior to the 1/30/25 deadline, you can pick up your West Virginia Department of Agriculture Drought Recovery Program checks at the district office! Location: 16346 Barbour Co Hwy, Philippi, WV 26416 IMPORTANT: The person picking up the check must be the one listed on your Drought Recovery Program paperwork and must bring a photo ID. If you don’t pick up your check by 4:00 PM on Thursday, 3/13/25, it will be mailed to the address on file with your application. This address is the same one on your USDA-Farm Service Agency 2024 Livestock Forage Disaster Program Report. For questions, call the district office at (304) 457-3026. |
