Tygarts Valley Drought Exigency Program
The Tygarts Valley Conservation District (TVCD) is now accepting applications for its Drought Exigency Program, which provides a 50% cost share up to $500 per practice to support landowners in implementing drought-related conservation practices.
Available options include livestock water supply, irrigation, revegetation of feeding areas, cover crop establishment, and temporary fencing.
To Apply Complete and include the following required documents:
- • W-9 Form
- • Cooperator Agreement
- • The Application for the appropriate Drought Exigency Practice
A separate application is needed for each practice:

Receipts dated as far back as 9/2/25 are eligible, but no applications or receipts dated after 10/27/25 will be accepted.
This Cost Verification Form must accompany all receipts. Please complete ONLY the highlighted fields.
