Agricultural Enhancement Program (AgEP)

This AgEP checklist will help ensure you have everything you need to process your Agriculture Enhancement Application. Please download it by CLICKING HERE.

  • • Signed Lease (for rented land)
  • Soil Sample Results
    •          •NOTE: Although documents submitted in previous years cannot be reused, results
                of samples taken within the past 3 years are acceptable if submitted with application
    •         • Frost Seeding, Lime, and Small Scale Soil Amendment require a soil sample.

You can apply for a maximum of two practices during the sign up period.

2026 Election Results - 5/13/26

We’re glad to share the latest election results for the Tygarts Valley Conservation District.

Barbour County

  • Tom Short is still serving.
  • Delbert Vandevander was re-elected.

 

Randolph County

  • James Dean is still serving.
  • Tim Cunningham resigned on 4/11/26.
  • No one filed to run, so TVCD will advertise.

 

Taylor County

  • Joseph Shaffer was re-elected.
  • Logan Hosaflook has been serving as interim since 10/6/25 and is now officially elected.

 

Tucker County

  • Jim Nester is still serving.
  • Don Adams would have been up for re-election, but has chosen to finish his term and then step down.
  • No one filed to run, so TVCD will advertise.

 

Upshur County

  • Mateal Poling is still serving.
  • Donnie Tenney was re-elected.
