Tygarts Valley (TVCD)

Tygarts Valley Conservation District is kicking off the first of two TVCD Grazing Outreach Field Days on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Sickler Farm.

Experts from NRCS, WVU Extension, and TVCD will be there to share practical grazing tips, talk about ways to improve pasture management, and answer questions from local producers. There will be refreshments, plenty of good conversation, and a door prize drawing with giveaways like soil tests, forage tests, soil probes, and hand-held seeders. This is the first of two field days planned for this summer, with the second one happening on Saturday, September 6 at a location to be determined.
