Video: Drone spraying helps to eliminate potentially harmful vegetation from dam

 

The West Virginia Conservation Agency's Jim Roy, a veteran watershed technician, proposed spraying herbicide on the steep embankment of Elkwater Fork Dam in Randolph County to prevent vegetative growth from taking root in the dam's concrete, which could damage it. Here is a video of the spraying from May 2025.
