Farms compete for WV Conservation Farm of the Year awards

On Aug. 27 and 28 we held the West Virginia Conservation Farm of the Year tours, with four farms competing in either the Non-Traditional or the Traditional farm categories.

The Traditional farms are: the DC Lucey Farm (Northern Panhandle Conservation District) and the P.J. Pendley Farm (Western Conservation District). In the Non-Traditional category, the farms are: the Jason Tartt Farm (Southern Conservation District) and the Wilding Woolly Farm (Potomac Valley Conservation District).

The winning farms will be announced during an awards luncheon in Sutton on Oct. 23. See our WVCA Facebook and Instagram pages for more photos.
