A comprehensive flood mitigation planning effort to protect residents, infrastructure and critical services in Wayne County will be the focus of a public meeting on Monday, June 29, at the Creekside Golf Course in Lavalette.

The project will evaluate flood and sedimentation risk across the county and develop actionable strategies and projects to help reduce risk.
