Wyoming County flood mitigation strategy meeting August 24
Wyoming County residents' input is needed during a meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 24, at Westside High School to help develop the Wyoming County Flood Mitigation Action Strategy. The strategy will identify practical, locally informed actions to help reduce flood impacts to homes, businesses, infrastructure, and critical services.
A key to this effort is ensuring the strategy reflects the experiences, needs, and priorities of local communities who have been directly affected by flooding. To share your voice, or to learn more about the project, please attend the meeting (information also found on the flyer) at 6 p.m. August 24 at the Westside High School cafeteria.
